Bottles of Hope
SAPCG has donated 774 Bottles of Hope
since October 2002 in support of cancer
patients in the San Antonio area.

Diane Gregoire
started the Bottles of Hope (BOH)
project in 1999.  Bottles of Hope
are made from glass vials that
originally contained medicines
used during the treatment of
cancer.  In order to make a BOH
polymer clay artists cover and
decorate the cleaned bottles.  
SAPCG members bring their bottles
to the monthly meeting. Our BOH
Committee Chair, Priscilla
Wigham, collects the bottles and
distributes them to cancer
treatment centers and select
individuals.  Patients use the
bottles to hold a wish written on
a small piece of paper. For more
